GoodState Privacy Notice
This notice describes information handled through the GoodState website and service. GoodState is operated by BE Goods LLC.
Information we handle
Depending on the service you use, GoodState may handle account and business details, worksite address and eligibility information, and contact details for authorized business users. An employer may provide employee information needed to prepare and deliver employee notices or related paperwork. GoodState may also create service records such as roster changes, delivery attempts and status, correction requests, account activity, support messages, usage information, and payment or transaction status.
How information is used
GoodState uses this information to check service eligibility, set up and administer accounts and worksites, prepare and deliver the service included in an available plan, track delivery and corrections, respond to questions, protect the service, and maintain related account and transaction records.
Service providers and sharing
GoodState may share information with service providers that host and operate the service, deliver service communications, or process payments and transaction records when those functions are used. Employee information supplied by an employer may be used to deliver the requested employee notice or paperwork. GoodState may also disclose information when you direct us to do so, when needed to protect the service or its users, or when disclosure is required by law.
Security and retention
GoodState uses administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. No internet service or method of storage can be guaranteed completely secure. Information is kept as needed to provide and administer the service, maintain relevant records, and address support or security issues. The period depends on the information and its purpose; records may be retained longer where needed for business records, backups, or other applicable requirements.
Your choices and contact
You may contact GoodState with questions or to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with your account. An employer may need to submit or coordinate requests about employee information it provided. GoodState may need to verify a request and retain records needed to administer the service. Do not send Social Security numbers, medical records, payroll files, payment card data or other unnecessary sensitive employee information through ordinary email. GoodState is not a government agency.
